|---180---|-----300----|---------420---------|

Trip1:
From A to A1, horse takes 900 bananas.
Eats 360 and is back at A.
A: 1800
A1: 540

Trip2:
From A to A1, horse takes 900 bananas.
Eats 360 and is back at A.
A: 900
A1: 1080

Trip3:
From A to A1, horse takes 900 bananas.
Eats 180 and is at A1.
A1: 1080+720 = 1800

Trip4:
From A1 to A2, takes 900
Eats 600 and is back at A1
A1: 900
A2: 300

Trip5:
From A1 to A2, takes 900
Eats 300 and is at A2
A2: 900

Trip6:
From A2 to B, takes 900
Eats 420 and is at B
B: 900-420 = 480

Distance between A and B is : 900km

Horse can take 900 Bananas at a time and it can it 1 banana after every 1 km so horse can eat 900 bananas after reaching point B in the first trip. Like wise in all the three trips horse can eat all the 2700 bananas..so answer is zero..

@Kiran:

When your horse did 1st trip - it took 900 bananas from A and reached B with zero stock. How will it return now without bananas ?
