Eat the pizza

You are sitting down to share a pizza with a friend.

After you cut the pizza, you and your friend will each start eating at constant rates Y and F, respectively, until the pizza is gone.

Both of you must fully consume your current slice of pizza before grabbing another one. Generously, you've agreed in advance that if you both reach for the last slice at the same time, your friend gets it.

That said, your goal is to maximize the amount of pizza you get.

Question: How many slices should you cut the pizza into, given that all pieces must be of equal size?
