Caps - 2

A,B,C are three intelligent persons.
A professor arranged them in a row with A in front ,B behind him and C behind them.
He had five caps-3 red and two green.
He then put a red or green cap on each so that C can see A's and B's cap,
but not his and B can see A's but not his or C's.A can't see no ones cap.

The professor asked them to say the hat in their head.
After a while A said correctly.

Question: What was the colour of hat he is having??

Ans : Red

Let me denote the colors by G and R .

C did not shout after a while
=> AB cannot be GG
=> AB can be RG,GR or RR

Now , B also did not shout
=> AB cannot be GR

Based on these , A can clearly say out that he is wearing a red hat .
